Sansin® Wood-Strip

Sansin Wood-Strip is a ready-to-use formula designed to remove paints, stains, sealers, and water repellents from wood substrates. It helps remove extreme weathering, water stains, mold, and mildew while restoring the natural color of wood. Wood-Strip is biodegradable, non-flammable, easy to use, and rinses off with water.

• Apply a liberal, uniform coat using a brush, roller, or sprayer.
• On vertical surfaces, start at the bottom and work upward.
• Keep the product active by lightly misting with water.
• Allow it to dissolve the coating for at least 20 minutes.
• Agitate with a stiff brush if needed, always working with the wood grain.
• Rinse thoroughly with a garden hose or low-pressure washer.

Important: Do not allow Wood-Strip to dry on the surface.

• Apply only to a dry substrate.
• Use when temperatures are above 20°C / 70°F.
• Do not apply in direct sunlight.
• Use low-pressure washing only, up to 500 PSI max.
• Direct the washer wand with the grain of the wood.
• Allow wood to dry completely before brightening, sanding, or coating.

• Dissolve the included Sansin Wood Lightener bag in 1.5 to 2 gallons of water.
• Spray evenly onto the cleaned wood surface.
• Allow it to neutralize the treated wood for at least 10 minutes.
• Rinse off with water.
• Allow the wood to dry completely before sanding.
• On smooth surfaces, sand with 60-80 grit sandpaper before finishing.
