Rosco FlexCoat®

Rosco FlexCoat® is a non-toxic, water-based coating formulated with 100% acrylic to provide excellent adhesion and durability across multiple substrates, including polyurethane foam, Styrofoam, ethafoam, concrete, primed metal, and primed wood.

Application & Usage

Rosco FlexCoat® can be easily applied by brush, roller, or a variety of sprayers. For best results:

1. Stir Well: Always stir the product thoroughly before each use.
2. Uniform Coating: Ensure all surfaces are evenly coated and free from voids to guarantee optimal flame retardance.
3. Surface Preparation: Clean, dry, and remove any dust or grease from the surface before application.

While thinning is possible, it is not recommended as it may reduce the ability to achieve a heavy film with excellent vertical hold.

Specifications

• Coverage: Approximately 250-300 sq ft (23-28 sq m), depending on the application method and substrate.
• Dry Time: 1-8 hours (depending on thickness, temperature, and humidity). Allow 24 hours for complete cure.
• Clean-Up: Easily cleaned with soap and water.
• Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months.
• Packaging Options: Available in 1 Gallon (3.79L) and 5 Gallon (18.95L) sizes.

Important Cautions

• Do not apply when the surface or air temperature is below 50°F (10°C).
• Protect against freezing; the product will freeze and become unusable below 32°F (0°C).
• Do not ingest. Use only with adequate ventilation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
