Flexible scenic adhesive Clear, pliable bond Low-fume water-based formula Brush, roller, or spray Paintable and tintable For foam, fabric, wood, and plastics
Summary
Rosco FlexBond is a professional water-based scenic adhesive designed to create a strong, flexible bond between a wide range of materials used in theatrical, scenic, display, and creative fabrication work. It dries to a clear, hard, yet pliable coating that avoids the tackiness often found in many flexible glues, even after extended drying time. Unlike ordinary white glues that can crack or fail when bent, FlexBond maintains adhesion as materials flex, deform, or move. It is ideal for bonding fabrics, plastics, foams, and wood, and can also be used as a surface coating or additive in compatible water-based coatings.
Key Features
  • Creates a flexible adhesive bond that resists cracking when materials bend or move.
  • Dries to a clear, durable, non-tacky film.
  • Low-fume, water-based formula for easier use in studios and scenic environments.
  • Can be applied by brush, roller, or spray gun.
  • Compatible with many water-based paints and coatings.
  • Can be tinted or painted over with scenic and latex coatings.

Application & Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt or grease before application. Rosco FlexBond can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray gun depending on the material and desired coverage.

When bonding vinyls or plastics, clean the surface first with denatured alcohol to help remove excess plasticiser that may interfere with adhesion.

Compatibility & Mixing

FlexBond is compatible with most water-based coatings and can be tinted or painted using products such as:

Rosco Supersaturated Roscopaint
Rosco Off Broadway
Latex paints
Other compatible colorants

Always stir before use. Avoid shaking the container, as this can introduce bubbles. While FlexBond performs best undiluted on both porous and non-porous surfaces, it may be thinned with water when a more fluid application is needed.
