Why You’ll Love It

  • Deep-penetrating consolidator that equalizes absorption on porous surfaces to prevent patchy curing, discoloration, and sheen variation.

  • Required primer / sealer before potassium-silicate or slaked-lime paints and plasters on virgin portland-cement masonry.

  • Breathable formulation that supports durable mineral systems.

  • Ultra-low VOC and 0 % APEO, PEG, PG, formaldehyde, and biocides — completely non-toxic.

  • Zero-odor, water-based, made from over 75 % natural raw materials.

  • Clear flat finish that can be lightly tinted to show coverage.

Ideal Uses & Compatible Surfaces

Perfect for interior or exterior use on virgin drywall / gypsum board, portland-cement stucco, concrete block, reinforced concrete, MGO board, chalky paints, plasters, and lime-based finishes.
Also great as a fixative on low-fired / porous brick and as an isolator to reduce salt or efflorescence reactions.

Technical Highlights

  • Type: Consolidator & binder-assist primer (water-based)

  • Finish / Color: Clear, flat

  • VOC: Ultra-low

  • pH: Alkaline formulation

  • Vapor Permeability: Highly breathable

Not designed as a mold-resistant topcoat; pair with appropriate mineral system for exterior use.

How to Apply

  1. Dilute 1 : 1 with water and mix well.

  2. Apply one uniform coat by brush, roller, or sprayer to a clean, dry surface.

  3. On new drywall, a second wet-on-damp coat may be required over patched or non-paper areas.

  4. Avoid over-priming. Once dry, the surface should remain flat and non-sheened.

  5. Allow 8 – 12 hours of drying before applying MicroGrip primer or other mineral/lime finishes.

Dry Time & Clean-Up

  • Dry to recoat: 8 – 12 hours (allow longer in cool / humid conditions).

  • Application temperature: 46 – 90 °F (8 – 32 °C).

  • Clean tools with water and mild detergent.

System Guidance

  • New cement / stucco: Cure 21 – 28 days → EcoForte Consolidator → MicroGrip primer → finish.

  • Chalky acrylics: Pressure-wash → Consolidator → MicroGrip primer.

  • Salt / coastal areas: Neutralize salts, rinse, dry → EcoForte Consolidator → finish system.

  • Low-fired brick: Consolidate → EcoForte Consolidator → MicroGrip → finish.
