Sansin DEC Topcoat is a highly protective, exceptionally durable exterior wood finish designed as a topcoat for DEC-coated wood surfaces. This breathable, water-repellent coating creates a fuller finish while delivering long-lasting protection against UV exposure, moisture, weathering, and surface deterioration. DEC Topcoat is environmentally friendly, low VOC, non-flammable, and cleans up easily with soap and water.

• Inspect and repair damaged wood before coating.
• Clean surfaces thoroughly using Sansin Multi-Wash and allow to dry.
• Scuff sand existing DEC-coated surfaces if necessary.
• Apply by brush, spray, or dipping method.
• Flood the surface to the point of saturation (approximately 5-6 wet mils).
• Brush out runs and wipe away puddles during application.
• Do not apply in direct sunlight or during the hottest part of the day.
• Do not apply if rain or near-freezing temperatures are expected within 24 hours.

• Maintenance coats are typically recommended every 2-4 years, depending on exposure.
• Inspect wood regularly for discoloration, erosion, checking, or splitting.
• For heavily weathered areas, sand and restore with the original DEC color before applying a maintenance coat of DEC Topcoat.
• Always test maintenance procedures on a small area first.
