Envirothane 170-TB (ELPR170-TB) builds on the proven performance of our high-solids ELPR170 primer by adding tannin-blocking capabilities. Suitable for use as a 1K or 2K system, it delivers outstanding filling properties—especially on MDF—without swelling fibers. When catalyzed with CAT100-LV Hardener, it ensures superior adhesion on veneer, solid wood, or refinishing projects while effectively blocking tannins. Fast-drying and easy to sand, this high-build primer lays down ultra-flat for a flawless finish.

Application & Performance:
ELPR170-TB can be sprayed via air-assisted airless, airless, HVLP, or conventional cup guns. Add RX010 Reducer to improve flow on challenging setups. For veneer, solid wood, or refinish jobs, use as a 2K (with CAT100-LV) to enhance adhesion, reduce risk of cracking, and effectively block tannins on problematic substrates.
