Rosco Supersaturated Roscopaint is a unique vinyl acrylic paint packaged in concentrated form. It is designed to be diluted with water at a minimum ratio of 1:1, allowing tremendous extendibility and a wide range of effects while remaining extremely economical. This versatile paint achieves vibrant, opaque color fields on many surfaces and can create bright, translucent washes that mimic the intensity of aniline dyes without the associated health hazards.

Formulated with a unique binder, Supersaturated Roscopaint delivers superior adhesion, durability, and flexibility—even on challenging surfaces such as Rosco Projection Screens and Rosco Dance Floors. It can also be used as a tint in other water-based paints, binders, and coatings.

Available in 32 artists' colors that can be easily intermixed or combined with other Rosco Scenic Paints.

Dilute at least 1:1 with water, Rosco Clear Acrylic Glaze, or a combination of both as needed. Dilution reduces color concentration to create beautiful "glaze" effects. Note that diluting with more than 5 parts water may compromise binder strength—adding Rosco Clear Acrylic Glaze can restore adhesion and flexibility.

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease. For porous surfaces (except fabrics), prime using Rosco Tough Prime. If working with a new plaster surface, first prime with a commercial primer/sealer formulated for raw plaster, then apply Rosco Tough Prime as the final preparation.

Stir contents well before each use. Apply by brush, roller, or spray gun in thin, uniform coats using a high-quality brush or roller. Use overlapping strokes and maintain a wet edge. Changing the roller direction frequently will help avoid patterns and streaking.

• Film Thickness: 1:1 Dilution = 1.5 mil dry film
• Coverage: 3:1 Dilution ≈ 300 sq. ft. per gallon (28 sq. m. per 3.79L), depending on substrate, application tool, and film thickness
• Avg. Dry Time: At 75°F (24°C), dries to the touch in 30-45 minutes; can be recoated in 1-2 hours
• Clean-Up: Soap and water
• Shelf Life: Approximately 24 months for unopened, sealed paint when stored in a temperature-controlled location

• Do not apply when surface or air temperatures are below 50°F (10°C).
• Keep from freezing.
